What age is it for?
Built for two to eight. Younger toddlers enjoy the moving light on the ceiling, and from about four they follow the stories properly.
Does it need WiFi to work?
It connects over WiFi to pull new stories down, and plays what is already on it without a connection, so a hotel room or a car journey is fine.
Is there a subscription?
No. No subscription, no cartridges, no per-story charge. You buy it once and the story library is included.
Does the remote ever play up?
It runs on line of sight, so point it towards the projector rather than the ceiling. If it stops responding, swap the batteries before anything else, and you can always start a story from your phone instead.
Will it take over the bedroom?
It sits on a bedside table and goes back in a drawer between uses. Compact enough that most families keep a second one in the holiday bag.
