The product
What age is Dreamly for?
Built for ages two to eight. Younger toddlers enjoy watching the moving light on the ceiling. From about four, children follow the stories properly and will ask for a particular one by name.
Does it need WiFi to work?
It uses WiFi to download new stories. Anything already on the projector plays without a connection, so a hotel room, a grandparent's house or a car journey is fine.
Is there a subscription?
No. No subscription, no cartridges, no per-story charge. You buy the projector once and the story library is included for good.
How bright does the room need to be?
It works best with the lights off or very low, which is the point. In a fully lit room the picture washes out.
Where do I put it?
A shelf, bedside table or the floor. The head adjusts through 180 degrees so it can point straight up at the ceiling. It needs a mains socket.
Will it take over the bedroom?
It is small enough to sit on a bedside table and to put away in a drawer between uses. Several parents keep one permanently set up and a second in the holiday bag.
Does the remote ever play up?
It works on line of sight, so point it at the projector rather than at the ceiling. If it stops responding, change the batteries before anything else. You can also start and stop a story from your phone.
Does it turn itself off?
Yes. The story ends and the projector dims itself, so you are not the one who has to come back in and end it.
Which plug do I get?
Whichever you choose on the product page. UK three-pin, EU two-pin or US two-pin, fitted before dispatch at no extra cost.

How much is delivery?
Free worldwide, with no minimum spend. Delivery takes 7 to 12 days from dispatch. See our Shipping Policy.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Yes, we ship worldwide and delivery is free. Orders outside the UK may attract import duty or local tax, which your country sets and the carrier collects on delivery.
Why is the multi-pack price lower in the basket?
Multi-pack savings are applied automatically when you reach the basket. Choose two or three projectors on the product page and the discount appears without a code.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You get a tracking link by email when it ships, or use our Track Order page.
After you buy
What if we do not get on with it?
Send it back within 30 days for a full refund. No restocking fee, and you do not have to explain why. Details in our Return Policy.
What if it arrives damaged or faulty?
Email us a photo and we replace it. You do not pay return postage on a faulty unit.
